About

I oversee community engagement and public input work for the city of Austin, Texas, and am an avid transit rider.  This blog tells the story of my trials and tribulations.

  1. Larry, I love that you love public transportation this much. You are too good. Props, tb

  2. I love your site. Keep it up !

  3. I lived in LA & I know how painful this whole thing must have been.
Here in Walnut Creek, CA we take Bart all the time & the hardest part is getting home from BART.

Great blog, Larry. Too many “trials & tribulations” in Austin; but between you and me (I’m starting an advocacy group and PAC called RailNOW! – but more on that later) perhaps we’ll make a difference. (I’m actually headed to NYC for the July 4th weekend, and will be using the subway – and even ferries – extensively, of course.)
